Elsa's powers may seem all cool and fun, but there comes a curse with it. As children, Elsa used to play with her little sister Anna. One day, she hits Anna in the head and knocks her out by accident. Fortunately, she is ok, but has no memory of her sister's powers. Soon, Elsa gets her own room, and permanently shuts Anna out. It is because she never wants to hurt Anna or her parents when her powers become stronger. Things get even worse when her parents die on a shipwreck. On her coronation, Elsa barely makes it through the ceremony, and is shocked at the thought of her sister getting engaged to a man (Hans) she just met. Anna pushes her to her limit, and reveals her powers in front of everyone. She escapes to the North Mountain, and creates her ice castle, thinking she is free of her past world. When Anna alerts her of the eternal winter, Elsa gets scared and freezes Anna's heart. She then returns to her past fears, and tries to go to her past motto: Conceal, don't feel. This leads to even more chaos later in the story.
